I teach basic photo classes at Kitsilano and False Creek
Community Centres. New courses in the fall.
At Langara College I have an architectural photography
class starting Sept 15.
Here's a recent comment from a Langara student:
"So enjoyed this course! Learned a ton and Doug is a great
instructor - very approachable, attentive and knowledgeable.
Really goes the extra mile for students." Wow. My daughter thinks
I made this up!

Architectural Photography Vancouver
If your camera is not level and you are pointing up at a building
it will appear to fall back. You can correct this in Photoshop in
different ways. One way is to select the picture, go to Edit, select
Transform, select Distort, and pull the corners of the pictures out
until the building looks straight. You may have to pull the top up
as well, as the building will look too short and stumpy if you don't.

stock photography Vancouver
Shooting everyday subjects is what stock photos
are all about. If you look carefully and find the
good light, things that are nearby can look very
interesting. You don't have to travel the world to
see great photos. They are already there on your
block, waiting to be seen.
