architectural photography Vancouver



Keep those vertical lines straight. If you are far
away from a building you can shoot it with a long
telephoto and it will look vertical. Of course, if you are
close to it, the building will seem to keystone, ie, tip
backwards. Sometimes that's ok but normally we like a
straight building. Some correction can be done in the
filter in photoshop for correcting camera distortion.
For an interior, you want to keep the camera at
a height that keeps the verticals straight, so keep it
about half way between floor and ceiling if possible.
