Interiors photographer Vancouver

It was difficult to light this bedroom at
the Olympic Village because of the reflective
painting and the reflections in the window
and hardly anywhere to put a light.
The best I could do was bounce the light
off the closed curtains and wall on the right.
Perhaps a more compact, very soft light
could have been rented for this.

Architectural photography Vancouver

For several years, I've made images of
architectural details in Vancouver.
It's a long term project. I get on my bike
when the light is good and pedal around
the city.
I usually use a long lens to look for
details of buildings.
Farmboy Fine Arts features some of those
images this month.

Private photography lessons in Vancouver

I've been asked often to give photo lessons to
individuals or small groups. That makes
a good Christmas, birthday or wedding
present to someone you know who wants
to learn how to use their camera and how
to see composition and light. You can learn
at your own pace and on your own schedule.
