Photographing in the forest

Shooting in the forest is best left to an overcast
day when the light is not so contrasty. On a
sunny day the patches of bright light are too
bright and the shadows are too dark. The camera
can't deal with that contrast so easily. But on an
overcast day the light is more even. And if
you bring a tripod, you can get long exposures
so that a waterfall will have a milky blur.

Interiors photographer Vancouver

In a small room it's not too hard to
light it up just bouncing your flash
off the white ceiling. This interior
is at the Vancouver Olympic Village.

landscape photography Vancouver, BC

Shooting landscapes that stand out is
not so hard provided you have great
light, an interesting subject, a good eye
for composition and you're in the right
place at the right time. Point and shoot.
Nothing to it.
